The issue of personal freedom is making a comeback in this nation in a big way. People are beginning to understand what we have lost and what is at stake if we stay asleep at the wheel of liberty. I believe that we are a decade (or less) away from the death of this great republic in the name of “democracy” and “national security”. Fear-mongering is prevalent in every level of our government, and is being used to manipulate, intimidate, and coerce the American people towards an even larger Federal government with a reach far beyond anything that we could have imagined just a few years ago.
In order to turn this nation around, we need a healthy dose of reality. In the words of Jesus, “The truth will make you free.” In an age like this, truth doesn’t only make a difference, truth is the difference. This is not a battle that any of us can fight alone. I need you and you need me. So let us embark on a journey of peeling back the layers of deception and spin, and discovering who we’ve really become as a nation.
My intent is that this blog will be a place where you can learn about and discuss what we have lost in the way of liberty in the United States of America over the last century, and how we must fight to regain the freedoms that once made this republic great.
